Compare ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini with the same prompt

A fair comparison starts with the same question, the same context, and the same evidence expectations. The goal is not to crown a permanent winner; it is to see which answer is most useful for this task.

Keep the test fair

Send the same complete prompt to each selected model at roughly the same time. State the audience and desired outcome, include the same facts and constraints, ask for sources when freshness matters, and define what a strong answer must contain before reading the results.

Compare claims, not personalities

Look for factual claims, assumptions, recommendations, caveats, and missing information. A polished writing style can make a weak or unsupported answer feel stronger than it is.

Investigate consequential differences

When models disagree, check the underlying sources and dates. When they agree, still verify claims that affect money, safety, health, law, or other important decisions.
